Landscape Architecture Case Studies
Design Solutions & Planning Advice
We advise on relevant Planning Policy with reference to local designations, particularly National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Our work includes landscape and visual impact assessments to support the development of projects in a range of settings for both outline and detailed planning applications. We assess landscape character and environmental considerations to develop a vision for the landscape and its capacity for change. All our work is undertaken in line with current best practice guidance.
Water Sensitive Urban Design
Water Sensitive Urban Design is at the heart of all our projects. We have extensive experience of integrating water cycle management with the built environment through planning and urban design.
Consideration of the water cycle is made from the outset together with community consultation for the design of successful and resilient places, which sustains a healthy natural environment while meeting human needs.
Green & Blue Infrastructure
Our experience of large-scale strategic river and canal corridor projects across the country means we have a sound understanding of Green & Blue Infrastructure strategies to complement our proposals. We are able to assess existing infrastructure networks and guide development proposals in a sensitive manner, ensuring our designs provide multi-functional and enjoyable experiences which are safe, accessible and able to be appreciated by all sectors of society.
Planning in Protected Landscapes
We have extensive experience in environmental planning and policy relating to the conservation and enhancement of protected landscapes such as AONBs.
